Reuters Will Be Putting Its Website Behind A Paywall

Reuters, one of the largest news organizations in the world, will put its website behind a paywall after a redesign, it announced on Thursday. A subscription will cost $34.99 a month after a free preview period.

WNU Editor: Reuters is one of my favourite sources for the news. What this means is that for breaking news stories, this is a source that this blog can no longer use until other news websites post the Reuters story. I personally think this is a bad business decision. Over 40 million unique visitors go to Reuters each month. That number is probably going to crash by about 95% once this paywall is implemented.Original Article
